The 1.35 million square foot headquarters for the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) was developed by The JBG Companies in 2007. It is the only privately-owned, cabinet-level agency headquarters in the nation. The project has received numerous awards and was innovatively financed by Raymond James using Taxable Lease Revenue Bonds rated by Standard & Poors. NRP Principals are part of the owning partnership and are presently working on leasing of the project.
